Who are we?
The bioMérieux Endowment Fund for Education, a nonprofit organization created in 2020, works in favor of equal opportunities. It aims to reduce inequalities through and within education so that everyone can find their place in the world
Our mission?
The bioMérieux Endowment Fund for Education supports projects that help disadvantaged young children worldwide. The Fund believes that educational support from early childhood enables them to acquire the fundamental skills and emotional and cognitive development essential for their future.
What does the Fund bring?
- A financial support for 1 to 3 years (between 30.000€ and 200.000€),
- A follow-up by an identified «project partner»,
- Punctual operational support among local teams, if needed.
- Its expertise in piloting projects, and the ability to discuss the objectives of the projects
Precision about the “bioMérieux project partner”
Your application needs a bioMérieux sponsor (a bioMérieux team member who will support your application and monitor the project until it is completed, if selected by the Fund).

- If your project is based in Asia Pacific, your Regional Coordinator is Emily Zhang.
- If your project is based in Europe Middle East (except France), your Regional Coordinator is Raffaella Catena.
- If your project is based in North America, your Regional Coordinator is Maya Balakrishnan.
- If your project is based in Latin America, your Regional Coordinator is Paula Macias.
- If your project is based in Africa, your Regional Coordinator is Patricia Ayandokun.
- If your project is based in France, your Regional Coordinator is Sophie Ablott.
